Homework Policy

Homework is assigned to enhance the learning process. It is strongly recommended that students keep up with the homework assignments, as the topics in this course build upon each other. Students having difficulty with homework assignments may seek assistance from other students and/or from the professor. Homework must be turned in no later than the beginning of class on the due date.

Examination Policy

Examinations will deal with textbook and handout material and with the homework problems covered between examinations. Examinations are closed book, closed notes. Each student may prepare a 4 in. x 6 in. index card with formulas and/or notes ahead of time for his or her own use during each test.

Attendance Policy

Attendance of lectures is not required, but is strongly encouraged as it affects the quality of learning and performance on exams. Your presence is required for all tests and exams.

Honor Code

Each test and exam must include the words "honor pledge" written next to your signature, indicating your adherence to the university honor code.
