Welcome home to the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Old Dominion University.

The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department is one of six departments in the College of Engineering and Technology and is located in Kaufman Hall. At the undergraduate level, the Department offers Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees in Civil Engineering and in Environmental Engineering.

At the graduate level the Department offers Master of Engineering (M.E.), Master of Science (M.S.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees in Civil Engineering and in Environmental Engineering. The graduate programs are structured to accommodate both the full-time and part-time students. The available specialty areas are coastal, environmental, geotechnical, structural, and water resources engineering.
